Cooper Staff Help Out with Region’s Largest 10K Race
On Sunday, November 2, Cooper volunteers helped with the annual Cooper-Norcross Bridge Challenge. The 10K run and 2-mile walk continues to grow in popularity and attracted over 3,600 participants. This year Governor Jon Corzine attended the opening ceremonies and was at the foot of the Ben Franklin Bridge when the runners and walkers began the race. The Larc School, the beneficiary of the event, will receive over $400,000 to help fund their programs and services. In a personal note to those who helped with the event, Susan Weiner, Director of the Larc School, wrote “Today is a day to celebrate and think of the wonderful things that will happen for Larc’s kids because of your efforts.”
Thank you to the many Cooper employees who helped make this event such a success.
